چکیده
In practice, the performance of structure is studied based on a seismic scenario composed independent single earthquakes. But in real life, subjected to multiple earthquakes during its typical design working which will produce an evolution damage with time. The main purpose this paper quantify liquefaction-induced embankment due sequential defined life. Moreover, non-parametric survival analysis used estimate time (in years) until level reached specific interval. For purpose, site was chosen where seismicity and Probabilistic Seismic Hazard Analysis (PSHA) were identified. First, site-specific assessed, that consists finding relation between Intensity Measures (IM) Engineering Demand Parameter (EDP). Second, order lifetime distribution as well Mean Time To Failure (MTTF) embankment, functions drawn. The histories stochastically generated from synthetic ground motion models. study, elastoplastic multi-mechanism soil behavior model used.According obtained results, after loading, cumulative either progressive or without extensive damages sudden drastic damages. model, reaches moderate before addition, numerical parametric performed impact considering (or not) loading history recovery each MTTF embankment. This study pointed out importance since it affects overall Finally, two models assessed generalize, certain extent, work.

15 صفحه اولevaluation of coupled- shear walls subjected to near-field earthquakes
coupled -shear walls are one of lateral load resisting systems in high and medium rise reinforced concrete buildings. the lateral structural response is exactly dependents on the shear walls behavior; therefore these elements must response well whenundergodifferent load conditions. the structures located in near-source region behave differently compared to those in near-source sites when subjec...
متن کاملA Fuzzy Approach to Sequential Failure Analysis Using Petri nets
In highly competitive industrial market, the concept of failure analysis is an unavoidable fact in complex industrial systems. Reliability of such systems not only depends on the reliability of each element of these systems, but also depends on occurrence of sequence of failures. In this paper, a novel approach to sequential failure analysis is proposed which is based upon fuzzy logic and the c...
متن کاملAbsolute Acceleration Transfer Function of Secondary Systems Subjected to Multi- Component Earthquakes
The importance of the equipment and secondary systems in seismic design and performance evaluation is well recognized and has been the subject of many studies. In all of these studies, earthquake is considered as a single component, and in most of them the primary system is considered as shear building. Most attention has been concentrated on the response of secondary system and its response sp...

In this article, to study the effect of pulse-type near-fault earthquakes on the seismic demands of steel moment frames, 15-story 2D-frame was analyzed under the influence of 20 near-fields with forward directivity effect and 2 far-field records. The relationship between Effective Cyclic Energy, ECE and displacement demands, velocity and hysteretic curve of SDOF systems in two near- and far-fau...
